Garth Brooks' comeback includes an embrace of technology. The country superstar has been a digital holdout, and hasn't made his music available for download. Brooks doesn't offer a launch date for his digital music sales, but anticipates having material available for download by the end of the month. The singer's reluctance to offer his music digitally stems from his objections to how online retailers -- like iTunes -- sell music. He has said he doesn't like their practice of allowing buyers to dismantle albums and just download a few select tracks. Brooks' digital launch was one of several announcements the singer made at a Nashville press conference on Thursday. He also confirmed that he'll be touring, and will unveil specifics in a few days. Garth added that he's working on a new album that will likely arrive in November.

Jimmy Kimmel is welcoming a new daughter. The late-night talk show host announced the news on Twitter Thursday. He tweeted, "Congratulations to my beautiful and very tough wife Molly on delivering our baby girl this morning." A rep for the couple tells "People" that they've named their first child together Jane. The 46-year-old funnyman thanked his followers for their well wishes, joking "Turns out, not ALL tweets are mean" -- a nod to his ongoing "Mean Tweets" gag on "Jimmy Kimmel Live." Jimmy's wife Molly is the head writer of his ABC late-night program. The two were married last summer. The comedian has a son and a daughter from a previous marriage as well.

The seventh installment of the "Fast & Furious" films has wrapped up filming. Filmmakers made the announcement on the film's official Facebook page Thursday. In the message they thanked fans for their support and credited them with keeping the film alive following the death of star Paul Walker last November. They also praised Vin Diesel for moving the "Fast & Furious" team forward when they needed it most. Paul's brothers, Caleb and Cody, were also singled out for helping them "complete his work." The filmmakers also acknowledged that the "Fast & Furious" family "won't ever quite be whole again without Paul." "Fast & Furious 7" is set to arrive on April 3rd, 2015.

Joan Rivers is putting a comedic twist on her recent decision to walk off the set of a CNN interview. On Tuesday's "Late Show With David Letterman," Rivers explained that she stormed out because of anchor Fredricka Whitfield's "negative" questions. Joan also mocked Whitfield and hinted that she was too uptight. She also denied that the incident was just a publicity stunt to promote her new book, "Diary of a Mad Diva." To give the comedienne a taste of her own medicine, David Letterman abandoned his desk after a particularly dicey joke. However, Joan took advantage of his absence and launched into an impromptu and uncensored question-and-answer session with herself.

"The Garth Brooks Comeback Special Event" won't happen after all. The country superstar issued a statement Tuesday saying he would not be going to the country later this month to play any shows. His decision follows the Dublin City Council's refusal to reconsider their ruling to only allow Brooks to stage three of his five scheduled concerts. Promoter Peter Aiken says it's not a decision that Garth made lightly, and the singer is "devastated" by the outcome. He explains that Brooks tried to work out a compromise, and offered to give matinee performances and play all five shows in three days. Aiken adds that Brooks is losing "millions in this deal," but he's "sticking by his principles." The concerts were to serve as Brooks' warm-up for an upcoming but as yet unannounced world tour.

The trouble began after Richman took to the social media site to blast critics who took issue with his use of the word "thinspiration" to describe his newly slimmed-down physique. Critics say the term is very popular among pro-anorexia and pro-bulima circles, and that Richman should probably steer clear of using it.
