We're the Millers stars Jason Sudeikis and Jennifer Anniston. It's a risqué comedy about a drug dealer, a stripper, a runaway, and a nerdy young virgin posing as a family to evade the border patrol while smuggling millions of dollars of marijuana across the Mexico border.
We're the Millers is shocking and pretty gross at times, but it is the funniest movie I've seen this year! There were hysterically funny moments throughout the entire movie and I actually had trouble hearing lines multiple times over the roaring laughter of the audience.
The storyline wasn't the most original. It was a typical road trip movie with a drug smuggling take on it. It starts out with some cheap laughs but the comedy gets better and better as the story moves on. Everything was great until the end of the third act. It kind of lost steam as the story came to a close, but there's some entertaining outtakes during the credits that make it nearly impossible to leave without a smile on your face.
The casting in this movie was perfect. Sudeikis was the best I've seen him and Aniston was great, but newcomer Will Poulter stole the show. He played Sudeikis' nerdy fake son and he was absolutely hysterical. I still find myself laughing about some of his scenes.
This movie has plenty of cheesy and ridiculous moments. It's fairly predictable and not very realistic. So sure, it's not the best movie ever, but it's absolutely hilarious and if you're not easily offended, I highly recommend this movie.
Make sure you don't make the mistake of taking your kids to see this movie. It's Rated 'R' for graphic adult language throughout, violence, drug references, and suggestive behavior.
