Her costume should have been a dead giveaway. A woman in Michigan was arrested last week for assaulting her boyfriend while wearing an “abusive wife” costume. Cristina Grespo, 26, and her live-in boyfriend had been participating in a Halloween pub crawl last Saturday when Crespo started to get drunk and sloppy. An officer confronted the very inebriated Crespo inside Mojave Cantina and tracked down her boyfriend, who was dressed up as an “abused husband.” He told the officer he was the designated driver and agreed to take his girlfriend home. But as the officer exited the cantina, he heard shouting and went investigate. He spotted Crespo “screaming and repeatedly hitting the boyfriend with her purse.” She was booked on domestic violence charges and is prohibited from consuming alcohol or contacting her boyfriend.
ASK THE AUDIENCE: What’s the most inappropriate Halloween costume you’ve ever seen?
The honeymoon was over pretty quickly for this Scottish groom. To celebrate Clinton Reid’s wedding night, his mother surprised him and his bride with a two-night stay at the Premier Inn in Inverness, Scotland. But Reid was out on bail and had been under strict orders to stay at his home in the city. Cops got wind of his romantic hotel stay and interrupted the newlywed couple after the first night. Reid was taken into custody, where he admitted breaching his curfew. He was spared a jail sentence but was fined for his indiscretion. This happily-ever-after didn’t get off to such a happy start!
This Halloween candy was more trick than treat! Police in Pennsylvania confiscated 40 pounds of drug-laced sweets from a college campus last week! Authorities said the candy was laced with THC, the active compound in marijuana, and was intended for sale to other students at West Chester University just before Halloween. They believe a 24-year-old student was the mastermind behind the manufacture of the candy, but he had not yet been charged. Police said the candy ranged in size from small, bite-sized pieces to chunks as large as an orange. Their main concern was that the treats would make their way onto the streets and end up in the hands of children. They’d certainly get more than just a sugar high!
CUTTING A LONELY FIGURE!
[NOTE CONTENT] This seems like a pretty extreme reaction to being single. A man in China was reportedly so depressed by his lack of love life that he cut off his own genitals! Shortly after the impromptu amputation, 26-year-old Yang Hu freaked out and reconsidered. He rushed himself to the hospital – on his bicycle - with the hopes of getting his manhood reattached. But there was just one problem: he forgot to bring the severed penis with him. He had to ride his bike all the way home to get it and when he finally returned to the hospital, doctors said the organ had been detached for too long and they would be unable to reattach it. If he thought his love life was bad before…
A spa in Bali, Indonesia is offering a “python massage” that promises to help you lose weight. The procedure at the Bali Heritage and Reflexology Spa requires customers to lie on their stomach as a snake slithers along their back. The spa claims it offers patients a more intense massage, plus it triggers adrenaline, which could boost metabolism. They also say it’s perfectly safe. Two staff members are present throughout the process and all pythons are fed 30 minutes before the treatment begins. Still, we can’t imagine it’s a very relaxing massage experience.
