Cody Simpson has been voted off "Dancing With The Stars." The pop singer and his partner Witney Carson got the boot on Monday night, based on America's votes from the past two weeks of competition. The pair seemed surprised to be going home just five weeks into the season. Meanwhile, JAMES MASLOW got the season's first perfect score, with a contemporary dance to the Adele Dazeem classic, "Let It Go".

Sunday's seventh season premiere of "Mad Men" disappointed in the ratings. Around 2.3 million people tuned in, which was the show's lowest season premiere since Season Two opened to 2.1 million viewers in 2008. "Mad Men" had some tough competition going into Sunday night's rating race with the 2014 MTV Movie Awards in play and a "Game Of Thrones" episode shocker on HBO, which drew an impressive six-point-three-million viewers.

British singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran has set his first arena-headlining tour of North America. USA Today reports The tour will begin in Seattle, Wash., on Aug. 22, almost two months after Sheeran releases his new album, x (pronounced "multiply"), the follow-up to his debut, + (pronounced "plus"). The first single from x, is the Pharrell Williams-produced Sing, which Sheeran performed on Saturday Night Live this past weekend. Ed Sheeran will be coming to the Sprint Center on 9/2.

The TV take on "Fargo" premieres tonight on FX. Based on the Coen Brothers' 1996 crime comedy of the same name, the limited run, ten-episode series stars Billy Bob Thornton. While many of the characters are similar to the characters featured in the Coen Brothers' Oscar winning movie, there are no exact duplicates.

"The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" was the big winner last night at the "MTV Movie Awards". It won Best Movie, and Josh Hutcherson and Jennifer Lawrence won Best Male and Female Performance, respectively.

The show was pretty tame, although Rita Ora did rip off Zac Efron's shirt while he was accepting his award for Best Shirtless Performance.

"Once Upon a Time" co-stars GINNIFER GOODWIN and JOSH DALLAS got married Saturday.

NICK CARTER got married on Saturday. Fellow Backstreet Boys AJ McLean, Howie Dorough and Brian Littrell were there.

The first weekend of Coachella had more than a few surprises for festival-goers in California. Beyonce showed up unannounced Saturday to dance alongside little sister Solange, while Jay Z took the stage during Nas' set.

Gwen Stefani turned back time by teaming up with Pharrell for "Hollaback Girl."

Arcade Fire closed things out on Sunday with a set that included a collaboration with Debbie Harry on Blondie's "Heart of Glass."

All the scheduled performers will return starting Friday for Coachella's second weekend.

"Captain America: The Winter Soldier" is #1 at the box office for a second week after just barely beating "Rio 2", $41.4 million to $39 million. The horror movie "Oculus" took 3rd place with $12 million . . . and KEVIN COSTNER'S "Draft Day" brought in a weak $9.8 million in 4th place.

CBS didn't waste any time in announcing DAVID LETTERMAN'S replacement. STEPHEN COLBERT will take over "The Late Show" sometime next year, although there's no specific timetable yet.

While wishing him the best in his move to network television, Comedy Central said Thursday the comedian's political satire series, "The Colbert Report" would end in eight months. Colbert is also parting ways with his ultra right wing talk show host character from the series. He tells "The New York Times" he won't be doing the "Late Show" in character, so everyone will get to find out how much of the character was actually him. There's still no word on Comedy Central's plans, if any, to replace "The Colbert Report."

It was just announced that Drake is going to host this year's ESPY awards, which won't air until July.

Music fans will be flocking to the desert this weekend. The sold-out Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival is taking over the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California, starting today with a lineup of artists led by the recently-reunited OutKast. Muse and Arcade Fire are set to headline Saturday and Sunday night, respectively, while the fest's multiple stages will also include performances from Beck, Queens of the Stone Age, the Replacements, Skrillex, Lorde, and more. Ed Sheeran is set to introduce his new music to American fans in a big way this weekend - as the musical guest on "Saturday Night Live." He'll perform on the NBC sketch show, days after dropping his latest single. It will be Ed's first time dropping by "SNL," and also his first time playing the new Pharrell Williams-produced track "Sing" on television. The Grammy-nominated Brit will be joining host Seth Rogen for the episode. The appearance also comes ahead of the release of Ed's much-anticipated next album "Multiply," which drops on June 23rd.

Christina Perri
has an obsessed fan stalking her around the U.S., both in person and on the Internet. The former Mix lounge artist just got a restraining order against Scott Brannan, claiming he's harassed and stalked her relentlessly for a year, despite multiple warnings to stay away. According to TMZ, Perri claims things have escalated so much, she now worries Brannan will commit "unwanted sexual acts" against her saying he also has gone out of his way to track down her brother and friends, writing them scary emails asking to see Perri face-to-face. Brannan has been ordered to stay at least 100 yards away from Perri at all times ... at least until a court hearing later this month.

Julia Louis-Dreyfus appears nude on the April 24th issue of "Rolling Stone," which shows her back covered with the words from the United States Constitution….signed by John Hancock. The problem is, Hancock signed the Declaration of Independence, NOT the Constitution.

Katherine Heigl is taking a New York pharmacy to task for using a paparazzi photo in its advertising. The former "Grey's Anatomy" star has filed a six-million-dollar civil lawsuit against Duane Reade in federal court in New York. In her complaint, Heigl says the drug store posted an unauthorized photo of her on its Twitter and Facebook account with captions advertising the pharmacy. The actress says she was photographed by paparazzi near a Duane Reade store in New York in March. Heigl is promising to donate all proceeds from the lawsuit to a foundation launched in the name of her late brother, Jason Debus Heigl, who was killed in a car accident in 2008.

Rapper Drake will help honor the biggest names in sports at this year's ESPY Awards. host the ESPYS on July 16th at Los Angeles' Nokia Theatre L.A. Live.

The nominees for this year's Billboard Music Awards have been announced . . . and IMAGINE DRAGONS and LORDE are tied with the most nominations, with 12 apiece. JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE was next with 11, followed by KATY PERRY and MACKLEMORE & RYAN LEWIS, with 10 and eight, respectively. The awards will be live from Vegas on May 18th on ABC.

The title track off Michael Jackson's upcoming posthumous album "Xscape" has leaked online. The song is expected to be featured on the upcoming release, "Xscape," due out May 13th.

AMANDA BYNES' rep issued a statement to dispel some rumors about her client . . . quote, "She does not have schizophrenia, nor has she ever been diagnosed with it. Amanda currently is on zero medication. She has never had a history of abusing alcohol or hard drugs, and she's proud to say she's been marijuana-free for the past nine months."

FX has announced plans to air all 552 episodes of "The Simpsons" over 12 days this summer. The marathon starts August 21st and is scheduled to run through Labor Day to celebrate snagging syndication rights to the show.
