TERESA'S TABLOID TRASH 8/15/14

ROBIN WILLIAMS' widow revealed that he had early-stage Parkinson's disease when he died, but he was, quote, "not yet ready to share [it] publicly."  Michael J. Fox says he was "stunned" to learn that Robin Williams was also battling Parkinson's Disease at the time of the death.

Meanwhile, Robin's rep said he was NOT having financial problems . . . adding, quote, "We should be blessed to have Robin's financial status."

In a related story…Twitter is evaluating its policies regarding anonymous abuse after Robin Williams’ 25-year-old daughter Zelda deleted her account this week, saying some users were sending her disturbing tweets and Photoshopped images of her father.  Twitter's vice president of trust and safety Del Harvey released a statement to CNN saying they "will not tolerate abuse of this nature" and took measures by suspending the multiple accounts targeting Williams' grieving daughter.  The site adds that it is in the process of reviewing how it can further improve its rules to "better handle tragic situations," and specifically "improving support for family members of deceased users."

There's a changing of the guard at NBC's "Meet The Press."  Host David Gregory is leaving the show - and NBC altogether.  NBC News chief White House Correspondent Chuck Todd has reportedly been tapped to replace Gregory as moderator of the Sunday morning political talk show.

Today marks an important date in music history…the 45th anniversary of Woodstock.
