TERESA'S TABLOID TRASH 4/29/14

Craig Ferguson is making it clear that his exit from "The Late Late Show" has nothing to do with any late-night controversy.  In announcing his upcoming departure on Monday's episode of the CBS show, he said he reached the decision completely on his own.
Ferguson says the network has been great to him, and the move isn't about not getting David Letterman's job.  Letterman announced his retirement from the "Late Show" a few weeks ago, but Ferguson says he didn't want the gig.

"Voice" coach Blake Shelton is taking his rivalry with Adam Levine to a new level.  During Monday's live episode, Blake tweeted Adam's cell number.  When the calls started rolling in, Adam was surprised that Blake actually followed through with his threat.

The Village People's former frontman doesn't want his music played at Los Angeles Clippers games anymore.  TMZ.com has obtained a letter Victor Willis' rep sent Monday to AEG Entertainment revoking the "blanket" permission to use the group's songs at the Staples Center. Meanwhile…The L.A. Clippers are losing sponsors left and right… Nine companies have already walked, including CarMax, Virgin America, Kia, Red Bull, Sprint, and a Casino.

NeNe Leakes has been voted off "Dancing With The Stars."

"Jay Z" and Beyonce have announced plans for their first-ever joint tour.  The "On The Run" tour will begin June 25th in Miami and run 16 dates before wrapping up August 5th in San Francisco.

Miley Cyrus says her health is in the clear.  The singer spoke out on Monday's "On Air with Ryan Seacrest," in her first interview since she was hospitalized for an allergic reaction to antibiotics.  Miley says she passed her time "doing some online shopping" and eating food ordered in from Cracker Barrel.  Miley will be coming back through KC on August 12 - Kansas City, MO (Sprint Center).

"Grease" is coming to TV.  "Entertainment Weekly" says Fox is developing a small-screen presentation of the Broadway musical, which will air as the three-hour special "Grease Live."  The Fox broadcast of "Grease Live" is expected sometime next year. NBC started the trend of bringing live theater to TV viewers with last December's "The Sound of Music."  Nearly 22-million people watched the special, including 18-point-five-million who tuned in for the live broadcast.
