Celebrity super-couple Jay Z and Beyonce won't be among the guests at Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's upcoming wedding.  The "Daily Mail" says Jay Z doesn't want to attend the ceremony because it will be televised on the reality show "Keeping Up With the Kardashians."  He and Beyonce will instead reportedly fork out close to 170-thousand dollars so Kim and Kanye can spend their honeymoon on a rented yacht.  Jay Z also will be hosting a lavish bachelor party at his New York club 40/40 for his longtime buddy Kanye.

The misdemeanor assault trial of R&B singer Chris Brown won't begin until Wednesday.  The trial in DC Superior Court was supposed to begin yesterday but is being postponed because Brown's bodyguard, Chris Hollosy, was found guilty of misdemeanor assaul and won't testify in Brown's trial until his appeal has been considered.  While Brown has been sent back to jail, prosecutors will think about granting Hollosy immunity so he can appear on the witness stand in Brown's trial.

Drew Carey won't be coming on down to the set of "Dancing With The Stars."  The game show host and his partner Cheryl Burke were voted off the competition on Monday night's episode.  Carey had originally joined the cast as a way to celebrate his recent, life-changing weight loss.

Netflix is raising the stakes for those who have not yet signed on to watch "House of Cards" and other Netflix fare.  The video rental and streaming service is raising its monthly subscription prices a dollar or two for new customers.  Netflix made the announcement Monday, saying it would move forward with the rate hike later this year after observing "little impact" with higher rates in Ireland.  The company says the higher fees will go toward buying more content for its nearly 50-million global subscribers.  Existing Netflix customers currently pay $7.99 a month.  New customers are expected to pay about $8.99 or $9.99 a month.

First Lady MICHELLE OBAMA will appear on the Disney Channel series "Jessie" on May 16th.

Comedy Central funnyman Stephen Colbert is returning to David Letterman's "Late Show" as a guest tonight.  It will mark his first appearance on the show since he was announced as Letterman's replacement a few weeks ago.  Letterman announced his plans to retire from his longrunning talk show earlier this month on April 3rd.  Colbert was named as his successor a week later.  Letterman will step down as "Late Show" host sometime next year.
