The nominees for the "56th Annual Grammy Awards" were announced Friday . . . and JAY Z leads the way with nine nominations.

Justin Timberlake, Pharrell, Kendrick Lamar, and Macklemore & Ryan Lewis have seven nominations apiece . . . and Drake is nominated for five awards. The Grammys air live on January 26th.

KELLY CLARKSON isn't enjoying her pregnancy . . . She sat down with Ellen.

LINDSAY LOHAN reportedly made a friend of hers beat PARIS HILTON'S brother BARRON to a pulp, after she heard Barron was talking trash about her. Police were called but Lindsay left before they showed up. Barron posted a picture of his facial injuries online, and Paris commented, quote, "They both will pay for what they did. No one [effs] with my family and gets away with it!!"

SUSAN BOYLE was diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome, which is a form of autism. But she also has an above-average IQ. She says, quote, "I have always known that I have had an unfair label put upon me. Now I have a clearer understanding of what's wrong and I feel relieved and a bit more relaxed about myself."

NBC's "Sound of Music Live!" special attracted 18.5 million viewers . . . but judging by the shots it has taken on social media, a lot of people thought it was a disaster. CARRIE UNDERWOOD responded to the haters by Tweeting, quote, "Mean people need Jesus. They will be in my prayers tonight."

If you aren't sick of the "Anchorman 2" publicity machine yet . . . the cast showed up on "Saturday Night Live" this weekend, and sang "Afternoon Delight" during PAUL RUDD'S monologue. ONE DIRECTION, the musical guest, also joined in.

My favorite part of the show was the skit that Paul had to have based on our very own One D super fan, Rocket:

"Frozen" beat "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" at the box office, earning $31.6 million in its third week. "Catching Fire" made $27 million. The CHRISTIAN BALE movie "Out of the Furnace" came in third with $5.3 million.

and you have been waiting for it..Rebecca Black has finally followed up her hit "Friday" with...what else..."Saturday"
