Taylor Swift is the youngest person on the annual "Forbes" "100 Most Powerful Women In The World" list. The 25-year-old superstar came in at number 64 on this year's tally, thanks to her "1989" album sales and being an outspoken critic of streaming services like Spotify. The highest-ranking entertainer on the list is Beyonce, who came in at number 21. Colombian singer Shakira is the only other musician on the list, at number 81. Oprah Winfrey, Ellen DeGeneres, Angelina Jolie and Sofia Vergara are included as well.
Would you like to see Amy Schumer as the next Bachelorette? Right after she appeared on ABC's hit show this past Monday the Internet was all a twitter about her becoming the show's next star. "Just say yes and we start tomorrow," tweeted ABC executive Robert Mills. "Here I come," Schumer tweeted back Tuesday. ABC declined to comment. Mills' tweet encouraged a flurry of others who think it would be amazing to see Schumer cast as the next bachelorette, using the hashtag #DraftAmy.

MELISSA MCCARTHY is starting a line of clothes for a broad range of women debuting in August at stores like Nordstrom, Bloomingdale's and Macy's, as well as on MelissaMcCarthy.com. At the start, it will include about 80 pieces . . . in sizes 4 to 28, with prices ranging from $59 to $159.
Demi Lovato and Nick Jonas are joining forces to co-create their own record label. The former Disney stars-turned-pop singers announced Tuesday that they've teamed up with their manager Phil McIntyre to launch a label called Safehouse, as an imprint of Island Records.
"Empire" co-stars Terrence Howard and Taraji P. Henson will put on their hosting hats for Spike's annual "Guys Choice Awards." Taraji won't only be hosting the show, she's also set to receive one of the night's major awards. The "Guys Choice Awards" will be taped on June 6th for air on Spike TV June 18th.
Authorities are investigating accusations that blues legend B.B. King was poisoned before his death at the age of 89 earlier this month. The King family attorney says King's daughters believe his business manager and personal assistant were giving him unknown medications or poisons in the days before his death. The Clark County, Nevada Coroner says they are taking the allegations very seriously, but so far they have no evidence to believe that they are true.
BEN STILLER's mom ANNE MEARA died Saturday, at the age of 85. There's no word on the cause of death. Anne was married to JERRY STILLER from "Seinfeld" and King of Queens for 61 years, and they were a comedy team called Stiller and Meara back in the day appearing together on "The Ed Sullivan Show." She also had recurring roles on "All My Children," "Sex and the City" and "Archie Bunker's Place."
The OLSEN TWINS are officially NOT doing the "Full House" revival, and JOHN STAMOS is a little upset about it. He Tweeted, quote, "#Heartbroken. I understand they're in a different place and I wish them the best." He added that it isn't a "money gig" for the cast, they just want to have fun.

America has a new idol. Nick Fradiani is the latest winner of American Idol. On Wednesday night's finale, the 29-year-old from Guilford, Connecticut took home the winning title of the show's 14th season.

JOHNNY DEPP brought his two dogs with him to Australia to film the new "Pirates" movie, and that's illegal. And now the country says he has two days to get them out or they could be euthanized.
First she said she would never be "Royal" but she can be wax. LORDE is the latest personality to be immortalized in Madame Tussauds in Los Angeles. On Twitter, Lorde reflected on the experience of sitting for the wax-work, calling it an "incredibly detailed process." She also praised the team at Madame Tussauds for their passion and skill.

On Mother's Day, a young fan named Kaileen reached out to the Taylor Swift on Tumblr sharing she was especially sad on the day since she had lost her mother earlier this year. Taylor does not know what it feels like to lose a parent but her mother was recently diagnosed with cancer. Taylor is so cool that she wrote back to Kaileen:
Kaileen- I love you so much and can't imagine what you must be feeling today. You've lived through my worst fear. I'm so sorry you can't spend today with her. It's not fair, and there's no reason why you should feel okay about it. No one should ever expect you to feel normal today. Ed Sheeran is among the artists lending his music to the latest incarnation of "Guitar Hero." According to "Rolling Stone," "Guitar Hero Live" will feature Sheeran's song "Sing." Music from the Lumineers, Skrillex, Fall Out Boy and My Chemical Romance will also be included on the set list. "Guitar Hero Live" is set arrive this fall.
Jennifer Lopez is heading to Sin City for her own residency at Las Vegas' Planet Hollywood. The announcement came on Tuesday's installment of "American Idol." The residency will kick off next year on January 20th with shows running through June.

The 1980s cartoon "Jem and the Holograms" is now a big-budget live-action movie. The updated reboot of "Jem" is about a small-town girl who lives an ordinary life until a video of her singing winds up on YouTube, and she becomes a hit. The movie hits theaters in December.
ABC released the first trailer for "The Muppets", which airs this fall. It'll be more adult in a mock-documentary style . . . like "The Office".
Is Sarah Jessica Parker hinting that a "Sex and the City 3" is in the works. Parker put a picture on her Instagram with her wearing the dress she wore in the last "Sex and the City" movie poster. In the picture Parker is carrying the famous Bloomingdale's brown bag with the caption reading, "cat's out of the (little brown) bag...I'm under a strict gag order." A spokesperson for Bloomingdale's announced the picture was to promote their partnering with the star on a new clothing line.
ABC has revealed the names of the 25 guys who will compete on the next season of "The Bachelorette" and two are from Kansas City. One of them, University of Missouri grad Ryan McDill, is the ex-boyfriend of Kansas City's own Nikki Ferrell, who in turn is now the "ex" of infamous "Bachelor" Juan Pablo .
The other local contestant is Tanner Tolbert, who reportedly is finance manager at Legends Honda.
Season 11 of the show begins with a two-night episode next Monday and Tuesday. For the first time there will be two bachelorettes: Britt Nilsson and Kaitlyn Bristowe. They'll start the show together but the bachelors will vote on which one stays.
Celebrity chef Sandra Lee has been diagnosed with breast cancer. The 48-year-old told ABC's "Good Morning America" that the cancer was discovered during a routine mammogram. She says she plans to undergo a double mastectomy to avoid weeks of radiation. Lee is New York Governor Andrew Cuomo's girlfriend. Cuomo says he plans to take some personal time to be with Lee to support her in any way he can.
Fox's breakout hit "Empire" is booking some top-notch talent for its second season. The network announced Monday that stars such as Chris Rock, Alicia Keys and Lenny Kravitz have already signed up for cameos next season. Grammy-winning singer Ne-Yo is also on board to write original music for the hip-hop drama. The new season of "Empire" is slated to return to Fox this fall with 18 episodes for its second season.
The reboot of "The X-Files" is getting a premiere date. FBI Agents Fox Mulder and Dana Scully will return to the small screen for six episodes starting on January 24th and 25th. Both David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson are signed on to reprise their roles.

Lindsay Lohan is facing more jail time because she is short on her court ordered community service. Lindsay could be arrested as soon as she returns to the U.S. from London. Lohan has only completed 20 hours of the 125 hours of required community service, which needed to be done by May 28th. The "Mean Girls" actress has been on probation non-stop since two back-to-back DUIs in 2007. Lohan has not only spent time in jail, she has also done several rehab stints.
Fox is cancelling the Mindy Project. While critics have embraced the romantic comedy, the show was never a success in the ratings during its three seasons. The show may get a second life online. "Entertainment Weekly" says Hulu is in talks to buy "multiple additional seasons" of the show.
Just announced…Taylor Swift will open the 2015 Billboard Music Awards on May 17th with her new video for "Bad Blood" which is rumored to star Taylor's celebrity friends like Zendaya and Selena Gomez.

The pop princess made a surprise visit to "The Ellen DeGeneres Show," where she had an announcement to make about her "Piece Of Me" show. "Piece Of Me" will now run at the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino through October, November and December of 2015. Tickets for the next installment of newly revealed dates go on sale starting on May 9th.
It is a "Vision of Love" for Mariah Carey fans in Vegas. Carey and her "number ones" are taking center stage in Las Vegas tonight. The pop diva is opening her first residency show called "#1 To Infinity" at the Colosseum in Caesars Palace. The superstar will perform all 18 of the songs that have hit number one on the charts over the course of her career. She has a total of 18 shows lined up through the end of May. Mariah will also be making an appearance at the Billboard Music Awards, taking place at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, on May 17th. Her latest compilation album "#1 To Infinity" will be released on May 18th.
Sam Smith has been forced to cancel more dates on his world tour. The British pop singer is suffering from a vocal cord hemorrhage, and on Tuesday, announced the cancellations of several concerts in Japan and the Philippines in addition to the ones cancelled in Australia last week.

The Kardashians are going to share their thoughts on Bruce Jenner's recent interview with Diane Sawyer. "E!" has announced a two-part special titled "Keeping Up With The Kardashians: About Bruce," to air on May 17th. "E!" is also planning an eight-part untitled series on Jenner's journey, which premieres July 26th.
The longest running scripted show in TV history is getting two more years. Fox Television announced Monday that "The Simpsons" would be renewed for seasons 27 and 28, which would allow the show to reach 625 total episodes. "The Simpsons" debuted in 1989 and has won 31 Emmys.

Lot's of people are trying to cash in on the popularity Bruce Jenner is facing at the moment. Unopened boxes of Wheaties with Bruce Jenner on the front are selling for hundreds of dollars on eBay. The former Olympic champion graced the cereal boxes after his gold medal decathlon win in 1976. After Jenner came out as transgender in a recent interview with ABC, one cereal box is seeing bids pass 250-dollars. Another unopened box is up past 125-dollars. Meanwhile, one Twitter user is even asking for 500-dollars for his unopened box.
The latest "Grey's Anatomy" plot twist is not sitting well with thousands who've signed an online petition. At change.org, a mega-fan is enlisting the TV show's creator, Shonda Rhimes, to bring back Dr. Derek Shepard. More than 16-thousand people signed to support the idea of making McDreamy’ death a "dream." Grey's Anatomy will air a special two-hour episode on Thursday that will show how the rest of Seattle Grace is dealing with the aftermath of Derek's death.

One of the emails hacked from Sony Entertainment is revealing a surprising fact about Ben Affleck. Apparently, Affleck asked the PBS show, "Finding your Roots," to hide the fact that one of his ancestors owned slaves.
