Caitlyn Jenner is being celebrated for her courage. The former Olympian accepted the Arthur Ashe Courage Award at the ESPYs in Los Angeles Wednesday. In an emotional speech, she asked for respect for transgender people from a more compassionate community.
Johnny Depp's actress wife Amber Heard is being charged with illegally bringing their two dogs into Australia. Authorities there learned in May that Heard and Depp had allegedly violated Australia's strict animal importation laws by bringing their Yorkshire terriers into the country on a private jet without putting them in quarantine. Heard could be fined up to 100-thousand dollars or be sentenced to possibly ten years in prison if found guilty. She and Depp made the trip because he was filming the next "Pirates of the Caribbean" movie there.
Singer Rihanna is adding sock designer to her resume. The pop star is partnering with the company Stance Socks for a limited edition collection due to arrive this fall. A total of 18 different styles will debut in September, with a holiday collection to follow in November.
Pop singer Ariana Grande says she's sorry for saying she hates America, but the donut shop where she said it is in hot water. Grande was caught on video on the Fourth of July making the controversial comments and apparently licking some donuts a worker left on top of a display case inside a shop in Lake Elsinore, California. Riverside County's Department of Environmental Health is now investigating Wolfee Donuts for the food being left out, which violates state law. Investigators are trying to find out if the shop has a history of leaving the sweet treats on display.

More nominations for the Teen Choice Awards are in with Fox's "Empire" picking up the lion's share of the television nods. The hit hip-hop drama snagged seven nominations. "Empire" stars Terrence Howard, Trai Byers, Jussie Smollett and Bryshere Gray all scored individual nods for their performances. A number of music nominations were also announced with Rihanna, Wiz Khalifa and the Weeknd all named as contenders. "Pitch Perfect 2" has scored six nominations picking up nods for Choice Movie Chemistry, Choice Movie Liplock and Choice Movie Hissy Fit. The award show is set to air on Fox on August 16th, and fans can vote for their favorites on TeenChoice.com, Twitter, Facebook or Instagram.
Taylor Swift's "1989" is now the fastest-selling album in more than a decade. "Billboard" reports that the album that turned Taylor into a pop superstar last year has now sold more than five-million copies -- a milestone that took her just 36 weeks. The last artist to reach five-million copies in less time was Usher with "Confessions" back in 2004. Taylor's "1989" is currently at number three on the Billboard 200, and hasn't left the chart's Top Ten since it was released last October.
Subway is suspending its relationship with spokesperson Jared Fogle while a child pornography investigation is underway. The sandwich chain announced on Twitter that it was a mutual agreement and that Fogle continues to cooperate with authorities. Federal investigators on Tuesday took a computer and other items from Fogle's Indiana home in connection to a child pornography investigation. The head of Fogle's foundation, Russell Taylor, was arrested in April on child porn charges.
Pop star Ariana Grande's tongue is making headlines after she was caught on security video at a donut shop in CA. making out with her new boyfriend. The camera also appears to show Grande start to lick some donuts the shop had on the counter that may have been sold to customers. The owner of the joint says he doesn't care how famous Grande is, he's more worried about his customers but he hasn't called police.
It appears that Paula Deen has not learned her lesson after being publicly accused of being a racist. The celebrity chef is once again coming under fire for racial insensitivity. On Twitter, Deen posted and later removed a picture of herself alongside her son Bobby Deen, who was wearing brownface. Bobby was apparently trying to dress up like the Cuban bandleader Ricky Ricardo from "I Love Lucy." Paula was also in character, sporting a red wig like Lucille Ball's character in the popular 1950's sitcom.
Things may be getting real on the next season of "The Real Houswives Of Beverly Hills." The mother of Australian pop star Cody Simpson is reportedly in talks to join the cast. TMZ says Angie Simpson could be the producers' latest pick. The 18-year-old singer could even end up on the show himself. The site claims the show is looking to play up on the tension from Cody's recent breakup with Gigi Hadid, who is the daughter of another "Real Housewives" cast member Yolanda Foster. Sources with the show say the casting is not a "done deal" and that Simpson has not begun filming with the other ladies.
Han Solo is living up to his name and getting his own stand-alone film. The official announcement was made Tuesday by Walt Disney Company, who said the untitled Han Solo project will be the second stand-alone film in the "Star Wars" saga. It is expected to follow the origin story of the character made famous by actor Harrison Ford, characterized for always having a fast ship and a good blaster. The film will be directed by the "Lego Movie" film makers Chris Miller and Phil Lord, and written by Lawrence Kasdan, the mind behind "The Force Awakens" and the "Return of the Jedi." Han Solo's stand-alone film is expected to be out in 2018.
Katy Perry is celebrating Shark Week with some new merchandise. Perry is creating a new iPhone case featuring "Left Shark," who is the blue cartoon shark mascot that turned into an Internet sensation after her Super Bowl halftime show. She revealed on Twitter on Tuesday that the "Left Shark" iPhone case will be available as a part of her ongoing collection with the retailer Claire's. The announcement comes during the Discovery Channel's 28th annual Shark Week.
Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis are now husband and wife. The couple tied the knot over the July 4th weekend in what "People" magazine says was a private ceremony. Kutcher and Kunis are already the parents to a daughter named Wyatt.
Billy Joel surprised guests at his annual July Fourth party by exchanging vows with girlfriend Alexis Roderick. New York Governor Andrew Cuomo presided over the nuptials at Joel's Long Island estate. The 66-year-old Joel and 33-year-old Roderick have been dating since 2009 and are expecting their first child together this summer. This is Joel's fourth marriage.

Katy Perry and John Mayer are reportedly rekindling their romance. The two were photographed together at Grateful Dead concert in Chicago on the Fourth of July. The on-again, off-again couple were seen cuddling in the crowd and taking pictures with fans. Katy and John are rumored to be back together as the pop star takes a break from her Prismatic World Tour. The tour will pick back up in South America starting in September.
Sam Smith says he won't be singing the theme song for the next "James Bond" movie. In an interview with "Capital FM," the singer says he's "definitely not" taking part in the forthcoming "Spectre" installment. Smith also throws another name into the rumor mill -- fellow British singer Ellie Goulding. Goulding has yet to confirm her involvement, but the station is helping the rumors along by removing the post from Sam' interview from its website.

"Jurassic World" barely beat "Inside Out" to win the box office for the third week in a row.
"Terminator: Genisys" came in third, and "Magic Mike XXL" took fourth.
"Jurassic World" opened with $204.6 million . . . which was close to a record. It was the second-best opening weekend in HISTORY, behind "The Avengers", which made $207 million in its opening weekend in 2012. "Jurassic World" did set the record for highest worldwide opening of all time, with $511.8 million.
JOHN STAMOS was pulled over on Friday night in Beverly Hills for driving erratically. Apparently he was so out of it that the cops handcuffed him, and had paramedics take him to a hospital. He was later cited for DUI and released.
AMY SCHUMER was eating at a restaurant in New York City when she found out her waiter was a student, and was working two jobs to pay for his education. So she left him a $500 tip . . . on a $49 check.
DAVE GROHL tripped and fell off the stage during a FOO FIGHTERS show in Sweden, and broke his leg. It happened during the second song. But rather than cancel the show . . . he received treatment from medics, and came back out to finish the entire three-hour set.
A member of Australian rock group Five Seconds of Summer is recovering from an onstage pyrotechnics accident. Michael Clifford suffered burns to his face on Saturday night after a flame that was supposed to rise from the floor caught his hair on fire. The concert took place at London's Wembley Arena. The 19-year-old took to Twitter on Sunday to let fans know that his face is "fine" and that he would re-join the group for their final gig at the venue. Five Seconds of Summer will kick off the North American leg of their tour in July.
Demi Lovato has been cast in the next "Smurfs" movie. Sony Pictures Animation announced Sunday that the pop star will be voicing Smurfette in the upcoming "Get Smurfy." She'll be starring alongside Rainn Wilson and Mandy Patinkin. Katy Perry voiced the part 2011's "The Smurfs 2." The next installment is set to hit theaters on March 31, 2017.
A pair of newlyweds are sharing their Taylor Swift "1989" concert experience on social media. That's because superfan Katy Harris married Chris Eisenmann in the parking lot of Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia on the day of Taylor's show there Friday. They said their vows in front of friends and family before heading to the concert as their reception. The pop star stopped by the ceremony to take a photo with the new couple. On Instagram, the bride writes that the experience was "two dreams come true."
British actor Christopher Lee has died. Lee passed away in a London hospital Sunday after being treated for respiratory problems. Lee rose to fame playing Dracula in horror films from the 1950s to the 1970s. He went on to have major roles in films such as "Lord of the Rings," and "Star Wars" His latest appearance was in "The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies." Christopher Lee was 93.
Carrie Underwood is the grand winner at the 2015 CMT Music Awards. The star-studded ceremony took place Wednesday night at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee. She also took home "Video of the Year" and "Collaborative Video of the Year" for the song, "Somethin' Bad" with Miranda Lambert.
RAVEN-SYMONE is officially replacing ROSIE O'DONNELL on "The View" as a full-time co-host. They announced it on yesterday's show. She's already guest-hosted the show 37 times.

If there is "Bad Blood" between them it may only be one-sided. Team Katy Perry isn't planning to record an insult track about Taylor Swift. After reports surfaced this week that she'd registered the title for a song called "1984," Katy's rep tells "Billboard" the story is "completely false." The rep says Katy was "not involved in writing, singing, recording or registering" the track, despite her name appearing on the site of music licensing organization BMI. Katy and Taylor are rumored to have been at odds since an incident involving their concert tour dancers back in 2013, which inspired Taylor's song "Bad Blood."
Ed Sheeran is sharing some words of wisdom. The singer, who suffered from a stutter as a child, was honored by the American Institute For Stuttering at a benefit gala on Monday night. "The Hollywood Reporter" says Sheeran gave a rousing speech at the New York event, telling young people, "Embrace your weirdness." The 24-year-old British crooner revealed that he overcame his stutter at age ten, after memorizing every word of Eminem's 2000 album "The Marshall Mathers LP."
The question remains is Rihanna's new love interest a "Rude Boy" or not? Rihanna is being romantically linked to soccer superstar Karim Benzema. The two have been spotted partying together twice in the past week, in both New York and Los Angeles. TMZ cameras caught Benzema buying up several dozen roses from a street vendor in Hollywood after exiting a nightclub with the pop star. The gossip site says it was Rihanna who first reached out to Karim, sending him a tweet after last year's World Cup. The 27-year-old French-born soccer player currently plays for the Spanish team Real Madrid.
Homer and Marge Simpson will call it quits on the coming season of "The Simpsons." The couple will legally separate because Homer falls for his pharmacist. "Girls" actress Lena Dunham will lend her voice to the part of Homer's love interest.

Beyoncé made a big deal about an announcement she had to tell everyone . . . but it turned out to be just a promo on "Good Morning America" yesterday for her vegan diet from her celebrity trainer. She talked about how she's struggled to stay in shape, and how it's been helping her. (She also plugged Borges new book "The 22-Day Revolution" which explains the diet.
Caitlyn Jenner is being hit with a new lawsuit connected to the fatal Pacific Coast Highway accident she was involved in back in February. TMZ reports the lawsuit is being filed by Jessica Steindorff, who was driving a Toyota Prius and was the second car Jenner crashed into during the accident. The woman is suing for physical injuries, lost wages and for the damage to her car. Jenner is also facing a wrongful death lawsuit from the step children of Kim Howe. She was killed after her Lexus was the first car hit by Jenner, which sent her into upcoming traffic, and crashing head-on with a Hummer. Jenner has filed documents, however, asking the court to dismiss this case.
Lady Gaga is getting a lot of attention for the outfits she wore when she met Prince Harry at a performance for his charity. She and her performing partner, legendary crooner Tony Bennett met the prince before their show Monday night. The ultra-low cut dress Gaga wore when she and Bennett posed for pictures with Harry could have almost been considered conservative compared to the white see-through gown she wore on stage and for post-performance pics with the Prince, Bennett, and Sir Elton John.

A social media debate has erupted after it was discovered that Katy officially registered the title of an upcoming track called "1984." The year signifies the year that Katy was born, mirroring the inspiration behind Taylor's latest album title "1989." Katy's new track appears listed on the site of performing rights group BMI. Neither singer has commented on their rumored rivalry, but Taylor admitted last year that her single "Bad Blood" was written about a former friendship with an unnamed fellow pop star.

Leonardo Dicaprio is taking legal action against a French tabloid. "TMZ" says the actor is suing the gossip publication "Oops" for its May 28th article about his rumored romance with pop star Rihanna. The story claims Leo got Rihanna pregnant and is now refusing to accept paternity. The actor's attorneys call the story "pure fantasy," saying the magazine refused to take down the article even after Leo's reps called them to refute it. The actor is reportedly asking for 18-thousand euros in damages. Which is equal to nearly 20-thousand American dollars.
Jennifer Lopez and her "booty" are the target of a new lawsuit in Morocco. "TMZ" says an educational group in the country has filed a lawsuit against the superstar and her concert promoters, claiming her act "disturbed public order" and "tarnished women's honor and respect." The concert in Morocco took place at the end of May. While she has performed in the country in the past, it was the first time her performance was aired on television.
Caitlyn Jenner has a new name and is ready to move on from the life she used to have as a man. Jenner along with ex-wife Kris Kardashian are selling the home they owned together. The home is on the market for nearly three-million-dollars. The "L.A. Times" says the 46-hundred square foot house features five bedrooms, five bathrooms, an updated kitchen, a spa and a bonus room.

Taylor Swift is the youngest person on the annual "Forbes" "100 Most Powerful Women In The World" list. The 25-year-old superstar came in at number 64 on this year's tally, thanks to her "1989" album sales and being an outspoken critic of streaming services like Spotify. The highest-ranking entertainer on the list is Beyonce, who came in at number 21. Colombian singer Shakira is the only other musician on the list, at number 81. Oprah Winfrey, Ellen DeGeneres, Angelina Jolie and Sofia Vergara are included as well.
Would you like to see Amy Schumer as the next Bachelorette? Right after she appeared on ABC's hit show this past Monday the Internet was all a twitter about her becoming the show's next star. "Just say yes and we start tomorrow," tweeted ABC executive Robert Mills. "Here I come," Schumer tweeted back Tuesday. ABC declined to comment. Mills' tweet encouraged a flurry of others who think it would be amazing to see Schumer cast as the next bachelorette, using the hashtag #DraftAmy.

MELISSA MCCARTHY is starting a line of clothes for a broad range of women debuting in August at stores like Nordstrom, Bloomingdale's and Macy's, as well as on MelissaMcCarthy.com. At the start, it will include about 80 pieces . . . in sizes 4 to 28, with prices ranging from $59 to $159.
Demi Lovato and Nick Jonas are joining forces to co-create their own record label. The former Disney stars-turned-pop singers announced Tuesday that they've teamed up with their manager Phil McIntyre to launch a label called Safehouse, as an imprint of Island Records.
"Empire" co-stars Terrence Howard and Taraji P. Henson will put on their hosting hats for Spike's annual "Guys Choice Awards." Taraji won't only be hosting the show, she's also set to receive one of the night's major awards. The "Guys Choice Awards" will be taped on June 6th for air on Spike TV June 18th.
