Former child star Shirley Temple is dead at 85. Temple died of natural causes yesterday in her California home. The actress was a box-office sensation who later became an American diplomat.

Julia Roberts is bypassing festivities surrounding her Oscar nomination this week following the death of her younger half-sister Nancy Motes. A rep for the "August: Osage County" star tells E! News Roberts bowed out of Monday's Oscar nominees luncheon in Beverly Hills to be with her family. The 37-year-old was found dead Sunday in Los Angeles of an apparent drug overdose. The family, which also includes Julia's brother, actor Eric Roberts, is said to be both "shocked and devastated."

"The Washington Post" is slamming the breaks on an outrageous claim being made by the French media. A celebrity photographer has accused Beyonce of having an affair with President Barack Obama. His sensationalized statements were picked up by a paper which also reported that the D.C. paper would be printing a bombshell story on Tuesday with proof of the supposed affair. A spokesperson for "The Washington Post" has responded to the claims saying that it's "definitely not true." The story is making the rounds on gossip sites just before President Obama prepares to welcome the President of France to the White House today.

WWE had Betty White as a special guest on "Monday Night Raw" last night. And she might be 92, but she still came ready for a fight.

WILL SMITH will be JIMMY FALLON'S first guest as the new host of "The Tonight Show". And "SNL's" FRED ARMISEN will join SETH MEYERS when he takes over on "Late Night".

Robocop hits theaters tomorrow.  Congrats to all our winners that got to see the advance screening last night.  SAMUEL L. JACKSON went off on a local reporter in LA yesterday during an interview.
