"Saturday Night Live" is pulling a seasoned show veteran into its announcer's booth. Darrell Hammond will take over for Don Pardo, who passed away last month at the age of 96. Hammond's 14 season run as an SNL cast member was the longest in the NBC show's history. SNL's 40th season kicks off on September 27th with Hammond, host Chris Pratt, and musical guest Ariana Grande.
The cast of ABC's "Grey's Anatomy" looked familiar, if a little off. Ellen Pompeo posted a photo to her WhoSay page with her costars doing their best impressions of the ladies from Netflix's "Orange Is the New Black." She gave it the caption "Blue is the new black," as they rocked blue scrubs rather than the prison colors of the inmates at Litchfield Correctional Facility.
The director of "Magic Mike XXL" says MATTHEW MCCONAUGHEY will NOT be in the sequel. He added that it's a "road trip movie" and it's so different from the original that, quote, "No one will be accusing us of making the same movie twice."
Saturday night on HBO will be all about music's power couple Jay Z and Beyonce. The network is spotlighting their joint summer tour "On The Run,". The concert special was filmed over two nights in Paris last weekend, which marked the last of 19 ultra-successful dates. Jay and Bey will tackle over 40 songs from their impressive collective catalogue of hits for the special TV event that HBO is calling "a night to remember."
The Liam Neeson thriller "A Walk Among the Tombstones" is in theaters this weekend.

CNN says JOAN RIVERS' doctor snapped a selfie with her while she was under anesthesia, right before he performed the biopsy on her vocal cords that killed her.
The new co-hosts of ABC's "The View" are starting the show's 18th season on the right foot. Monday's season premiere drew in nearly four-million viewers, making it the most-watched episode of "The View" in eight years. It's also ranks second in viewership among the show's premieres. Monday's premiere was the first for new co-hosts Rosie Perez and Nicolle Wallace, as well as former co-host Rosie O'Donnell. Whoopi Goldberg is the only co-host returning from last season.
It didn't take long for the 1st elimination of the season on DWTS. Olympian Lolo Jones was in the Bottom Two Tuesday with fashion designer Betsey Johnson, who actually received a slightly lower score from the judges Monday night. But Lolo says the viewers made the right decision. The remaining 12 stars are now preparing new dances for "My Jam Monday," featuring the celebrities will presenting routines to their favorite music.
A winner is declared on the season finale of "America's Got Talent" on NBC.

Robin Thicke is owning up to having a problem with drug and alcohol abuse. "The Hollywood Reporter" says the singer's personal issues went public during his deposition in the ongoing legal battle with Marvin Gaye's children over his hit song "Blurred Lines." In the sworn testimony, it seems like Robin is attempting to distance himself from any wrongdoing. The singer says he was "high on Vicodin and alcohol" when he showed up to the studio on the day he created "Blurred Lines" with Pharrell Williams, and admits he didn't have much to do with the creative process.

LINDSAY LOHAN wasn't exactly factually correct when she suggested that one of her duties when she did community service at the L.A. Morgue was to "roll a body bag for WHITNEY HOUSTON." The Coroner's Office says, quote, "Ms. Lohan may well have cut and rolled plastic for us (which we use in lieu of body bags), but not specifically for any particular case."

JAY Z might have revealed during a gig Friday night that he and BEYONCÉ are having another kid. During the song "Beach is Better", Jay changed the line "I replace it with another one," to "pregnant with another one."
IGGY AZALEA'S legal team is now copping to the possibility that she made a sex tape . . . but they say it was probably filmed without her knowledge and she may have been underage. But the guy who claims he's in the tape with her says both of those things are untrue. He also says he's not the one who leaked it, but he'd be interested in making a deal for a porno company to release it.
An actress from the movie "Django Unchained" is talking about being detained by police. Daniele Watts and her boyfriend believe they were targeted unfairly and suspect police assumed the actress was a prostitute. The two had been making out inside a car in Studio City, California last week when someone from a neighboring building called the cops. Watts who was handcuffed and placed in the back of a police cruiser before being identified by police. She said on Sunday that she has hired an attorney but has no plans at this time to file a lawsuit against the police department.
Lauren Morelli is one on of the head writers for "Orange is the New Black" . . . and she just filed for divorce from her husband of two years. She says writing for the show made her realize that she is gay and now she is dating an actress Samira Wiley…one of the cast members from the show
During a show in Australia the other night, KANYE WEST refused to continue until everyone in the audience stood up. There were two people who couldn't stand up because they were in wheelchairs. But Kanye had to make SURE. The process took several minutes, and the audience was booing and chanting "Stand up!"
Actor Ben McKenzie is recovering after suffering a gash on his forehead while on the set of his new Batman-inspired series, "Gotham." McKenzie -- who stars as a young version of Commissioner Gordon -- showed off pictures of the deep cut on Instagram. He blamed it on a "fight sequence gone awry" that resulted in him hitting his head on a concrete pillar.
Lauren Conrad has tied the knot. The former reality TV star-turned-fashion designer has confirmed to "Us Weekly" that she and fiance William Tell were married in an intimate ceremony on a California beach on Saturday.
"No Good Deed" made $24.5 million and took the #1 spot at the box office this weekend. "Dolphin Tale 2" was the runner-up with $16.6 million . . . And JAMES GANDOLFINI'S "The Drop" made $4.2 million in 6th place.
