New rumors are surfacing about the supposed feud between Taylor Swift and Katy Perry.  A social media debate has erupted after it was discovered that Katy officially registered the title of an upcoming track called "1984."   The year signifies the year that Katy was born, mirroring the inspiration behind Taylor's latest album title "1989."  Katy's new track appears listed on the site of performing rights group BMI.  Neither singer has commented on their rumored rivalry, but Taylor admitted last year that her single "Bad Blood" was written about a former friendship with an unnamed fellow pop star.
