So, this is basically part 2 of the previous post and picks up on what is coming up…the weekend of March 29-31, Angela and I will join numerous other Kansas City cosplayers and artisans, such as Amanda Lynne Chainmail, Chris Dorsey Photography, and Dennis Butt – the Predator, and travel to Iowa for O Comic Con. I haven't been to this con before, but everything is pointing to it being a fun time and with having a lot of friends up there I can guarantee lots of pictures and tons of fun for anyone who joins us. A few celebrities to see at O Comic Con will be wrestling legend Mick Foley and Jamie Bamber of Battlestar Galactica and Law & Order: UK.

After that it will quiet down a bit, especially with my summer nursing schedule, until August when there are two great events. The first one will be the inaugural event for Kansas City Comic Con at Bartle Hall from Aug 7th-9th. I will be attending as both a cosplayer and a member of the media and hope to get some good interviews plus of course a ton of great pictures. My girlfriend, Angela Diegel, will also be selling her artwork at a booth in her name and to display her work on CrazyJaneLane.com, so I know I will be there quite a bit to support her and to take photos and spend time with friends and fans. Who else will be at KCCC? Well a few of the celebrities are: Pam Grier (Jackie Brown, Foxy Brown), Sean Astin (The Lord of the Rings Trilogy, The Goonies), Manu Bennett (Arrow, The Hobbit Trilogy), Rick Howland (Lost Girl, Tin Man), Ksenia Solo (Orphan Black, Lost Girl), Austin St. John (Might Morphin Power Rangers, Power Rangers Zeo) and more that can be found at kansascity-comicon.com plus more to still be announced! On top of celebrities from media, there will also be numerous names in the cosplay world such as my friends Calen Hoffman, Stephen K Smith, Jessica Meditz-Porter, Alexa Hart, Dennis Butt, and many more plus tons of people in cosplay as well as a costume contest. Come out and join us, support the guests and cosplayers, and get some great art and items from all the vendors and artisans who will be there.

Following KCCC will be Kansas City Crypticon Aug 21-23, which was the first con that Vector ever made an appearance at, and is a wonderful horror convention which will be full of guests, cosplay, indie films, and of course horror and fun. I will be giving more details on this con and KCCC in upcoming posts plus TopCon, Topeka's new con celebrating its' second year. Lots coming up and I will do my best to make more frequent posts.
One last note, I have started my own cosplay page on FaceBook, so please check it out at:
